In 2017, Pyramids of Güímar was unanimously accepted as a member by the Ibero-Macaronesian Association of Botanical Gardens, thus becoming the fifth botanical garden of the archipelago.

Through its more than 20,000 square meters of accessible landscaped areas and its various specialized gardens, visitors can discover a wide variety of plant collections, properly organized for consultation, visit and recognition. Botanical exhibitions have been carried out following scientific conservation, cultural and educational objectives.

Likewise, the Park has a Framework Collaboration and Advisory Agreement signed with the University of La Laguna.

The specialized gardens include the Poisonous Garden, whose inhabitants are all, to a greater or lesser extent, toxic or even mortal for the human being.
